Every visual subject in the natural world has the ability to evoke feelings and sensations unique to that point in time. Good or bad, beautiful or profane, the things we see have power to evoke emotions that are often ignored or lost to distraction. Thus, the gift of photography: The ability to capture a moment (actually a nano-second) and isolate a subject from all other distractions. My aim, hit or miss, is to faithfully represent each scene in a way that reveals the spirit of the subject at that precise instant. And in so doing, offer a one-of-a-kind perspective that vaporized immediately after the click of my shutter.
